The position of a Back Server at BOA Steakhouse is pivotal in supporting the front-of-house team and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Back Servers work behind the scenes to maintain the restaurant's cleanliness, assist servers with food delivery, manage table settings, and promptly reset tables between guests. Job Requirements

  • Two years previous experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both with guests and teammates
  • A positive, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends
  • Valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate upon hire
  • Ability to work standing for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of the entire restaurant and perimeters
  • Deliver food from kitchen to guests, explaining dishes and condiments
  • Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
  • Promptly clean, reset, and arrange tables, chairs, and booths between seatings
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate them to servers
  • Communicate with servers and hosts to ensure efficient seating and table utilization
  • Inspect and clean assigned restrooms every 30 minutes
  • Perform station opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Embody and deliver exceptional service and hospitality
