As a Back of House staff member, you will play a crucial role by assisting with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area is another key responsibility, including tasks like washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and managing waste disposal.

The position requires adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment for all staff. This role demands individuals who are detail-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced setting, and possess strong communication skills to foster teamwork within the kitchen and dining areas. Experience in a similar position is preferred but not mandatory, as on-the-job training will be provided to help you build your skills and grow within the role.

Employment types available include full-time, part-time, and seasonal work, offering a competitive pay range of 22 to 30 dollars per hour. Job Requirements

  • Must speak English
  • Must be available Tuesday-Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm and/or Saturdays 11:00am-9:00pm
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Assist with food preparation including chopping vegetables preparing sauces and assembling dishes
  • Ensure that all food items are properly stored and labeled
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area including washing dishes sanitizing surfaces and emptying trash bins
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Support the front of house staff as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhere to company policies and standards
