The role of Manufacturing Supervisor within the Semiconductor Optics segment is pivotal to maintaining production efficiency and quality assurance for high precision optical system manufacturing. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this full-time B-shift position (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) is based on-site in West Henrietta. The Manufacturing Supervisor oversees all manufacturing functions including materials handling, equipment and facility maintenance, and quality control for value streams that incorporate complex builds using electronics, machined metals, and optical lens components. This supervisory role requires strong leadership abilities to ensure adherence to company standards and employee expectations while coordinating with production planning teams to meet achievable schedules.
A successful Supervisor must possess comprehensive process knowledge and technical skills, empowering the team to attain sustainable manufacturing improvements. Job Requirements
- Technical degree preferred
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Experience in lean manufacturing
- Experience in capacity management
- Manufacturing experience in low volume high mix environment
- Production planning experience desirable
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and driven to excellence
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight

Job Qualifications
- Technical degree preferred
