Montefiore Health System is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Supply Chain Services. This high-level leadership role is ideal for a seasoned healthcare supply chain executive with a proven ability to manage complexity and drive continuous operational improvements. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain Services, the AVP will provide enterprise-wide leadership and oversight across all core supply chain functions including strategic sourcing, procure-to-pay processes, materials management, ERP and supply chain systems, data analytics, and project design and enablement. The position operates during the day shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with a scheduled 7.5-hour workday.

The AVP will be responsible for ensuring reliable supply chain operations, strong financial stewardship, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. This involves partnering closely with senior leaders, clinicians, and operational teams to define future-state workflows, enable technological enhancements, and lead initiatives focused on savings, efficiency, automation, and process redesign. The role demands exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to manage and inspire a large, diverse workforce, including unionized teams.

Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations within all supply chain functions, driving performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project documentation. Leading multiple complex, cross-functional projects concurrently, the AVP will coordinate efforts with governance structures to achieve sustainable business outcomes while enhancing collaboration across the system. The role demands excellent communication skills for executing effective stakeholder engagement and alignment across the enterprise.

This position offers a highly competitive salary range from $280,000 to $350,000, reflecting the importance and impact of the role on organizational success.
