The Field Service Engineer role at Nautilus Hyosung America, Inc. is pivotal in maintaining the operational integrity and performance of ATM networks within assigned territories. This position involves on-site support responsibilities entailing the installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of ATM equipment. The engineer’s duties are not limited to technical tasks; they also include training bank staff or external vendors on the necessary maintenance procedures, assisting with the staging and integration of new ATM units, and providing troubleshooting support. The role requires a flexible working schedule, including on-call duties, and frequent travel to various locations within and potentially beyond the assigned territory. Candidates should be prepared to handle a variety of challenges associated with medium to high-complexity ATM products and services.

Field Service Engineers at HYOSUNG are expected to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of customer service that aligns with the company’s commitment to meeting and exceeding service level agreements (SLAs). They must adeptly manage spare parts inventory and complete administrative reporting in a timely manner. Additionally, holding a valid driver’s license is essential due to the travel requirements. The position also demands adherence to strict security policies and responsible use of company property and credit card resources. Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent experience
  • Prior ATM experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in field service
  • Solid understanding of electronics and electro-mechanical equipment
  • Ability to use analog and digital voltmeters
  • Ability to handle and carry heavy parts up to 80 lbs
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Ability to perform on-call duty
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred

  • 3-5 years of field service experience
  • Solid understanding of electronics and electro-mechanical equipment operation
  • Ability to use analog and digital voltmeters
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to carry heavy parts up to 80 lbs
  • Ability to work extended hours and flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Capability to travel nationally on occasion
  • Willingness to perform on-call duties with compensation

Job Duties

  • Installation, repair, software loading and maintenance of ATMs or other products in assigned territory
  • Train bank staff or vendors on required maintenance tasks of equipment
  • Work with internal and external support departments to provide maintenance support
  • Maintain service level agreements as per customer contracts
  • Work on products and services of medium to high complexity
  • Travel occasionally with short notice as required
  • Perform preventive maintenance including diagnostics, testing and cleaning
  • Manage spare parts and follow inventory processes
  • Complete administrative reports within deadlines
  • Complete tasks assigned by supervisor or applicable staff
  • Maintain flexible work schedule with on-call duty
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
