The role of Account Manager at On Location presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sports travel and hospitality. Based onsite at Purdue University, this position is a critical liaison between Anthony Travel—a division of On Location—and the university's athletic department. The Account Manager is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive management and execution of collegiate team and administrative travel, ensuring smooth, effective, and efficient logistics for Purdue’s athletic programs. This role demands a detail-oriented, highly organized professional who excels in customer service and can manage complex travel arrangements with precision.
The Account Manager is responsible for coordinating all facets of athletic team travel including booking group airfare through Global Distribution Systems like Sabre, managing hotel room blocks, arranging charter bus services, and coordinating individual travel needs encompassing air, car, and accommodations. The role requires not only technical skills in travel management but also exceptional communication skills to maintain professional relationships with university clients and internal teams. The position requires availability to provide emergency and after-hours support, demonstrating commitment and responsiveness to urgent travel needs. Additionally, the incumbent must ensure travel approvals are obtained timely, and trip planners are supplied, meeting strict ticketing deadlines consistently to avoid disruptions during critical events.

- knowledge and experience in athletics and/or athletics travel

- must be able to come to work promptly and regularly

Job Duties
- Arrange all aspects of athletic team travel including group air, hotel block, and charter bus
