Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • bilingual in English and Spanish

  • familiarity with safety and OSHA compliance

Job Duties

  • Perform store manager duties during the store manager's absence
  • contribute to profitable operation of store
  • serve as a model for customer service and instill these values in all associates
  • create an environment for continual learning and encourage open dialogue among associates
  • provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote a culture reflective of company principles and values
  • provide direction and instruction to all associates of assigned store
  • identify root causes of issues and inefficiencies and develop plans for resolution
  • constantly interact with customers and remain highly visible
  • ensure order and security controls are in place consistent with standard practices
  • adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices
  • follow through on the Safety Program and maintain store in OSHA compliance
  • maintain the GM/HBC department to company standards
