Job Description
Our establishment is a renowned restaurant that prioritizes delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the highest standards in product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency. As a dynamic and growing entity in the food service industry, we pride ourselves on fostering innovation, teamwork, and leadership development within our workforce. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond our culinary offerings to the overall environment we create for both guests and employees. We operate with a vision to build a team-oriented culture that values continuous improvement, financial prudence, and superior customer service, ensuring that every guest leaves with positive and memorable dining experiences.
The Associate Restaurant Manager (ARM) role is a pivotal leadership position within our restaurant operations, reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager. As the ARM, you will function as the assistant to the Restaurant General Manager, providing substantial management coverage throughout operating hours and directly supervising teams including Assistant General Managers, Shift Managers, and team members. This position is instrumental in driving excellence in customer service, ensuring adherence to company standards for product quality and facility maintenance, supervising all food handling procedures and operational processes, and managing shift-to-shift financial controls to meet targeted profit margins. Beyond operational oversight, the ARM holds responsibility for specific financial controls, crew training programs, and the screening and hiring of prospective employees. This hands-on role requires proactive involvement in everyday restaurant activities, training staff continuously, and responding promptly to customer service demands while modeling exemplary skills and behaviors.
Candidates for the ARM position are those with demonstrated leadership potential, seen as promotable to Restaurant General Manager within approximately eighteen months. The establishment places strong emphasis on candidate progression through targeted training and coaching; those who do not show consistent development according to individual development plans may be subject to demotion or termination. The ARM’s success is measured through achievement of annual operating plans, sales growth, managing labor and costs, evaluating customer satisfaction via feedback tools, and maintaining high standards of team training and retention. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a supportive environment that values professional growth, operational excellence, and leadership development, making it an ideal position for individuals aspiring to advance in the restaurant management career path.
