The role of Food and Beverage Attendant at Universal Kids Resort is integral to maintaining the resort's high standards of guest service and food quality. This position involves operating the register and point-of-sale (POS) system, preparing and cooking basic food items, and delivering exemplary customer service by greeting guests warmly and fulfilling food and beverage orders accurately and promptly. The attendant plays a crucial role in managing both internal and external crowd flow, ensuring that guests have a smooth and pleasant dining experience from entry to exit. In addition to food preparation and order processing, this role includes cleaning and maintenance duties that help uphold the cleanliness and safety standards of the dining areas. Tasks such as mopping floors, emptying trash, wiping down tables, restocking condiments, bussing tables, and running food are all essential responsibilities that contribute to the overall guest experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 6+ months of previous food and beverage experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties
- Operate the register and point-of-sale system
- perform basic food preparation and cooking tasks such as operating fryers on a timer
- take and fill food and beverage orders accurately
- provide friendly and courteous guest assistance including greeting and answering questions
- manage internal and external crowd control and maintain line speed
- clean dining areas by mopping floors, emptying trash, wiping tables, and stocking condiments
- participate in environmental, health, and safety responsibilities according to established policies
- perform other duties as assigned
