The Associate Project Manager role at Precon Events is a vital position dedicated to maintaining organization, timelines, and progress for a diverse portfolio of events. Reporting directly to the Director of Event Operations, the incumbent will support the planning and flawless execution of various events ranging from small in-person meetings to large-scale hybrid and virtual productions. This role requires close collaboration with Project Managers, Technical Directors, Producers, vendors, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination at every phase of the event lifecycle. The Associate Project Manager plays a critical role in building and maintaining detailed schedules, tracking deliverables, managing project documentation, and supporting event logistics from initial kickoff meetings right through to on-site show days.

Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in event management, event production, or related field
- Experience supporting live, hybrid, or virtual events
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and effective communication skills

- Willingness to travel regularly regionally, nationally, and internationally

Job Duties
- Support the planning and execution of small-to-mid-size events with guidance from senior team
- Partner with Project Managers and Producers on larger productions
- Build and maintain detailed timelines and workback schedules
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and action items across teams, vendors, and clients
- Participate in internal and client meetings to ensure alignment and clear communication
- Collaborate with Technical Directors on AV needs and labor planning
- Assist with production schedules, gear lists, labor orders, and onsite logistics
- Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned clients maintaining proactive communication
- Coordinate with vendors on logistics, documentation, and timelines
- Maintain project management systems, documentation, and shared files
- Support budget tracking, purchase orders, and invoice coordination
- Support on-site execution including load-in, rehearsals, show flow, and load-out
- Help coordinate crew logistics and schedules
- Act as problem-solver on-site assisting with real-time adjustments and communication
