As a key bridge between frontline staff and upper management, the Associate Manager ensures that daily operations run smoothly with a focus on high performance and accountability. This position requires someone who can independently lead and develop the team while managing AI-enabled workflow strategies that optimize sales processes. Leadership responsibilities include conducting regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and fostering a positive, productive team environment that drives sales success.

The role demands a focus on continuous improvement, including identifying skill gaps, creating development plans, hiring and onboarding new team members, and maintaining operational excellence. The Associate Manager is also responsible for monitoring key performance indicators such as conversion rates, call volumes, and customer acquisition metrics to inform strategy adjustments. Acting as the primary point of escalation for customer or team issues, this role requires sound judgment and excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, the position involves collaboration with multiple departments to streamline processes and integrate services seamlessly, making it a pivotal contribution to the organization’s overall mission and growth.

This full-time position is located in Richardson, TX, where on-site presence is required Monday through Friday, with the ability to close shifts three to five days a week. The compensation package consists of a base salary of approximately $97,000 annually, paired with a tier-based commission structure, reflecting the blend of stable earnings and performance-based incentives. AppFolio also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package inclusive of numerous benefits for regular full-time employees, supporting health, wellness, and work-life balance.

Overall, this is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated leader with a background in sales leadership, customer success, or service delivery who is driven to make a significant impact by developing talent and enhancing operational performance in the real estate technology sector. Join AppFolio’s inside sales team to be at the forefront of innovation and contribute meaningfully to a company dedicated to empowering customers and fostering a dynamic, inclusive work culture.
