The Assistant Manager, Sales Operations role at BIC World is an exciting opportunity to support the North America Commercial organization. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of national trade shows, managing the product catalog, and supporting various sales enablement initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Operations, the Assistant Manager acts as a key operational partner across multiple departments, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Finance. This collaborative role requires excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of 3-4 national convenience trade shows and 2-3 industry events annually, managing every detail from scheduling and logistics to vendor coordination and budget oversight. You will work closely with third-party exhibit vendors to ensure booth design, installation, and dismantling meet brand standards, while also partnering with Marketing to create compelling booth graphics and digital displays that bolster BIC's presence. Additionally, you will maintain and update the product catalog across various product categories, support the delivery of sales training programs, and coordinate product samples, promotional materials, and branded giveaways.
The position demands a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to foster cross-functional relationships. The role includes approximately 20-30% travel, mostly for trade shows, commercial meetings, and key customer events, making it ideal for candidates who are flexible and enjoy dynamic work environments. The annual base salary is approximately 75,000 USD, reflecting the significance and responsibilities of the position.
Success in this role is measured by the flawless execution of trade shows and events on time and on budget, maintaining an accurate product catalog, supporting sales teams with the tools and materials they need, and identifying continuous opportunities for process improvement.
