Job Description
ADP, also known as Automatic Data Processing, Inc., is a globally recognized leader in providing comprehensive cloud-based human capital management (HCM) solutions. With a strong reputation and a place among Fortune 250 companies, ADP offers an integrated platform that unites HR, payroll, talent management, time and attendance, tax, and benefits administration. The company also excels in business outsourcing services, analytics, and compliance expertise. Established with the core belief that people make all the difference, ADP fosters a down-to-earth culture embracing core values like innovation, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging. The company has received various industry accolades acknowledging its commitment to excellence and progressive workplace culture.
ADP is currently hiring for the position of Sales Representative, Small Business Services. This role focuses on engaging and expanding a portfolio within a defined geographic territory, targeting clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. The Sales Representative will identify and sign new clients to ADP's suite of solutions including payroll, tax, human resources, and benefits administration while also offering additional services to existing clients. This is a dynamic sales position that requires building authentic relationships, setting appointments, generating leads through established business partners, and closing new business. ADP provides industry-leading sales training and the latest sales technology to support individuals without prior sales experience, making it an excellent opportunity to develop and hone sales skills.
Success in this role comes from having integrity, resilience, a positive outlook, and a determined mindset to overcome challenges typically faced in sales. Sales professionals at ADP benefit from a variety of incentives such as uncapped commissions, lavish incentive trips, and opportunities for career advancement. The company cultivates a fast-paced but inclusive and collaborative work environment where employees are treated with respect and encouraged to be their authentic selves. ADP also strongly champions diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a safe workplace that embraces diverse perspectives and experiences.
The Sales Representative must be a positive self-starter who can effectively cold call and manage time, present ideas professionally across various communication channels, and solve problems with agility in a changing environment. While a college degree may be helpful, ADP prioritizes skills and potential, welcoming candidates with diverse experiences such as retail, marketing, military service, or insurance sales. Bonus points are awarded for prior sales quota experience and the ability to build networks using social media.
Beyond the compelling compensation structure—with a base salary ranging from $40,200 to $79,800 annually, plus bonuses and commissions—ADP offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, matched retirement savings, wellness programs, disability coverage, paid volunteer time off, and much more starting from day one.
In summary, ADP represents a stable yet innovative tech company where a Sales Representative can thrive, gain serious credibility, and grow their career within a supportive and engaging culture. This role is not only about driving business success but also forming long-lasting relationships and enjoying a rewarding professional journey. Applicants who are ready to #MakeYourMark and contribute their unique talents are encouraged to apply and discover the abundant opportunities ADP provides.
