Job Description
KFC Corporation is a globally recognized leader in the quick-service restaurant industry, known for its iconic fried chicken and commitment to delivering quality food with exceptional service. As a major brand within the restaurant sector, KFC has established a widespread presence across various markets, catering to diverse customer preferences while maintaining its dedication to operational excellence and community involvement. Located at 1329 W. Wade Hampton Blvd., Greer, SC, this particular KFC restaurant is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Manager to join their dynamic management team. This opportunity offers a full-time, salaried role designed for individuals passionate about leadership, team development, and customer satisfaction. The position provides a rewarding work environment that balances the challenges of management with avenues for personal and professional growth.
The role of Assistant Manager at KFC places you at the core of the restaurant's daily success, directly supporting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by ensuring that brand standards are upheld and that the team is motivated to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will lead by example, coaching and recognizing team members to maintain high performance and foster a positive work culture. Acting as the RGM's second-in-command, you will assume full responsibility for operations in their absence, making critical decisions and driving the team towards operational excellence.
This position requires working a 50-hour week, with 40 hours compensated at a regular rate and an additional 10 hours paid at time and a half, offering a balanced work schedule that rewards dedication and commitment. Your leadership will be instrumental in enforcing food safety and health standards, managing financial processes including profit and loss oversight, and contributing to recruitment and training initiatives to build a strong team. The role invites you to take ownership of both the operational and interpersonal aspects of running a successful fast-food restaurant, while fostering an inclusive environment aligned with KFC's values of equity, inclusion, and belonging. With a focus on continuous improvement and employee engagement, this position not only advances your career but also allows you to contribute meaningfully to the community and the brand's legacy.
