Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of experience in specialty retail preferred
  • six months supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • ability to perform cashiering functions
  • ability to manage merchandise receiving and stocking
  • capability to open and close store shifts
  • effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to handle physical demands including frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 55 pounds
  • ability to operate equipment such as scanners and pricing guns
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various store conditions

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • knowledge of cash handling and cashier accountability procedures
  • understanding of cash, facility, and safety control policies
  • proficiency in operating cash registers and related tools

  • knowledge of inventory management and merchandising
  • valid driver’s license and ability to drive to bank for deposits

  • six months of supervisory or team lead experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations
  • assist the Store Team Leader in fostering a customer-first store culture
  • model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance customer experience
  • facilitate store merchandising ensuring appealing and effective displays
  • maintain daily and weekly cleaning checklists to uphold store presentation standards
  • open and close the store as scheduled
  • assist with employee scheduling, training, safety meetings, and compliance with company policies
  • manage merchandise receiving, unpacking, stocking, and rotating according to guidelines
  • control inventory accuracy including damages, markdowns, and paperwork
  • help implement and maintain plan-o-zones for merchandise presentation
  • ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, key control, and deposit preparation
  • assist customers with self-checkout processes
  • manage store operations in the absence of the Store Team Leader
