The company is a proud nameplate of Macy's, Inc., which specializes in offering a highly curated and premium product assortment spanning skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrances, and more. Bluemercury is dedicated to helping individuals discover their unique selves by celebrating what makes each person wonderfully distinctive. As a modern beauty retailer, Bluemercury combines expert beauty advice, superior product knowledge, and exceptional customer service in a welcoming retail environment that encourages personalized connections and authentic relationships.

As Bluemercury continues to innovate and grow, it maintains its commitment to serving its customers and establishing itself as the ultimate specialist in the beauty of every individual. This dedication is reflected in its store teams, who embody the brand’s mission through exceptional client engagement and professional expertise.

The role of Assistant Store Manager (ASM) at Bluemercury is a key leadership position integral to delivering this client-first experience. The ASM acts as a beauty advocate, role modeling outstanding service and empowering the team to exceed customer expectations consistently.

In addition to client engagement, the ASM will focus heavily on leadership and operational excellence. This means facilitating ongoing communication within the team to ensure collective knowledge, motivation, and collaboration. You will be expected to lead by example, demonstrating the brand's core values and fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Achieving personal and team sales goals, managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining store profitability are all critical aspects of the role.

This position requires a passion for beauty, an understanding of current trends, and strong interpersonal skills to connect effectively with colleagues, clients, and business partners. The ability to mentor, train, and support team members while balancing customer engagement and operational demands makes this role both challenging and rewarding. Flexible availability is essential, as the retail environment includes weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. The ASM position provides a dynamic, inclusive, and fun work environment with opportunities for career advancement and learning.

Joining Bluemercury as an Assistant Store Manager offers the chance to be part of a growing luxury brand that values diversity, inclusion, and empowerment. The company provides competitive pay including commissions and bonuses, along with merchandise discounts and comprehensive benefits.
