This full-time position typically offers a starting hourly wage of $22.67, with compensation potentially ranging between $21 and $33 depending on experience, skills, and geographic location. The role demands flexibility, requiring availability Monday through Sunday between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with a preference for candidates who also have freight handling experience.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to execute the Annual Operating Plan, focusing on achieving sales targets, managing expenses, and controlling shrinkage. You will supervise front-end operations ensuring all transactions are accurate and staff are well-trained in customer service and loss prevention. Your responsibilities include coaching employees, conducting performance evaluations, and enforcing company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment. You will be involved in recruitment, training, and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels and the delivery of superior customer service.

The Assistant Store Manager acts as the Manager-on-duty, representing the leadership presence in the store and handling any operational issues as they arise.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk continuously, lift and carry weights ranging from light to heavy frequently, and perform various physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and reaching. This is a hands-on role that involves working in a retail store environment subject to varying temperature conditions and moderate noise levels.
