The Spa Assistant Manager role at Four Seasons Westlake Village is a pivotal leadership position within the Spa Department. This full-time role is designed for professionals who are passionate about spa and wellness services and aspire to contribute to the operational excellence and strategic development of the spa. The Spa Assistant Manager supports the Spa Director with key decisions affecting treatments, spa philosophies, and the overall guest experience. This individual manages a diverse team, including Therapists, Estheticians, Attendants, and Receptionists, ensuring that service standards meet Four Seasons' luxury expectations. Responsibilities extend to overseeing all spa and salon areas, from the front desk and fitness facilities to treatment rooms and retail spaces, ensuring seamless operations and a pristine environment.

The position also involves administrative oversight of department inventory and budgets, fostering positive employee morale through effective supervision, and coordinating with other hotel departments such as Housekeeping and Engineering to uphold cleanliness and equipment standards. This role requires a balance of operational management and guest service excellence, with duties including participation in staff meetings to communicate policies and sales strategies, managing retail inventory, coordinating group bookings, and facilitating spa tours. The Spa Assistant Manager is expected to integrate spa operations with the overall hotel experience, staying current with industry trends to enhance service offerings.

Candidates should have a strong background in luxury spa operations, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and a thorough knowledge of spa treatments and wellness programs. The role requires proficiency in spa computer systems, excellent English communication skills, and experience in retail management within a spa environment is preferred. A college degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management or Business Administration is advantageous, along with at least five years of experience in the luxury spa industry.
