The Assistant Service Manager will play a pivotal role in coaching, training, and motivating service staff including servers, hosts, and support personnel to deliver top-notch hospitality. At Crawfish Cafe, the Assistant Service Manager will handle guest concerns professionally, turning challenges into positive experiences. The role also includes monitoring inventory levels and enforcing effective control procedures to maintain operational efficiency. Compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines is critical to maintaining the restaurant's high standards.
The ideal candidate is proficient in all front-of-house positions and skilled in using POS systems, particularly Toast POS, to process orders and manage payments. Maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment is also essential. This role demands flexibility as it involves working 54 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the vibrant nature of the hospitality industry.

- 1+ years management experience in hospitality and food service
- Strong leadership and communication skills and able to motivate and manage a team under pressure

Job Duties
- Manage daily FOH operations including table flow and guest satisfaction
- Coach, train, and motivate servers, hosts, and support staff to deliver exceptional service
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and create memorable experiences
- Support the Service Manager in driving sales, building a winning culture, and ensuring smooth service
- Be proficient in all front of house positions
- Monitor inventory levels and enforce effective inventory control procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines
- Utilize POS systems, Toast POS, to process orders and payments
