The available position is for an Assistant Seafood Manager who will work closely with the Seafood Manager to oversee daily seafood department operations. The role requires managing product availability to ensure all seafood displays are adequately stocked and maintained with the highest standards of freshness. The Assistant Seafood Manager will play a crucial role in enforcing company directives and HACCP guidelines, supporting effective product rotation, proper labeling, and replenishment procedures. This position is also responsible for minimizing shrink by monitoring product quality and inventory levels through frequent cycle counts. The candidate will assist with operational tasks such as equipment handling, safety compliance, and maintaining departmental cleanliness standards. Additionally, the Assistant Seafood Manager is expected to contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing timely, friendly customer service and applying suggestive selling techniques to drive sales growth.
