As a Harley-Davidson Assistant Sales Manager at Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson, you will play a vital role in steering and managing the sales operations of new and pre-owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This position is designed for a motivated individual who can assist the Sales Manager by coordinating sales activities, guiding the sales team, and ensuring profitable performance through both motorcycle sales and finance, insurance, and extended service program offerings. The Assistant Sales Manager will work cross-functionally with various departments, especially focusing on collaboration with the Sales and Finance teams. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and develop sales personnel, and a commitment to delivering world-class customer service on the sales floor. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in automotive or motorcycle sales preferred
  • Experience with finance and insurance products
  • Ability to lead and inspire a sales team
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in sales and operational software

Job Duties

  • Help the sales manager steer and manage the sales operation of new and pre-owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles
  • Assist the business office operational activities related to providing finance, insurance, and extended service programs
  • Produce acceptable levels of revenue and profits for the dealership by selling motorcycles, finance, insurance, and extended service programs to new and used motorcycle customers
  • Able to work cross-functionally with all departments, with an emphasis on the sales department and finance department
  • Guide and develop our sales team by using your leadership skills and sales expertise
  • Motivate our team to meet and exceed sales goals using open communication
  • Develop our sales team by using your leadership skills to offer new and different sales techniques
  • Communicate openly and consistently with our sales team and assess their needs
  • Track customer traffic peaks to provide consistent sales floor coverage for optimal customer service
  • Be a visible leader to customers, service driven, and confident in our sales team to provide a world-class customer experience
