As an Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese, you will play a vital role in shaping the guest experience by leading a motivated team dedicated to ensuring every guest leaves happy. This position is a high-energy, high-reward opportunity for candidates looking to advance their management careers within the family entertainment industry. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.40 to $20.45, plus exciting commission opportunities depending on membership and Fun Pass sales. Assistant Managers are entrusted with daily decisions related to time management, staff scheduling, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding product and service standards.
You will be responsible for building sales and maximizing profits by recruiting, training, and motivating your team to achieve company goals and guest satisfaction. Coaching and inspiring staff to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment is a critical aspect of the role. Operational responsibilities include cost control, inventory management, financial oversight, and labor management.
The Assistant Manager will take ownership of an Area of Impact (AOI) rotation that includes key aspects of the business such as The Kitchen, where you'll manage food safety, product ordering, and pizza preparation; Sales, overseeing cashier, salad bar, and gift shop operations; The Showroom, managing birthday party planning and execution; and the Gameroom, partnering with the Technical Manager to maintain equipment and analyze performance data.
Ideal candidates possess strong coaching and communication skills, composure, resourcefulness, ethical standards, and effective time and priority management. This role requires a minimum of one year of people management experience, preferably in food service, or experience as an Opening Coordinator for at least six months. Candidates must be at least 21 years old (with flexibility depending on local laws), have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to work 40 hours per week.
The position demands physical capability, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment features varying conditions such as flashing lights, mechanical parts, loud noises, and exposure to temperature extremes and humidity.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow for local law exceptions)
- Minimum one year experience managing people preferably in food service or six months as an Opening Coordinator
