The Assistant Manager role at CEC Entertainment is an exciting leadership opportunity within the beloved family entertainment industry. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.33 to $19.25, with the potential for commissions depending on sales achievements related to memberships and Fun Passes, paid bi-weekly. As an Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese, you will be entrusted with helping lead a dynamic team committed to ensuring that every guest leaves happy. This is a high-energy, high-reward role requiring dependable decision-making, effective time management, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.

In this capacity, you will take ownership of key operational areas such as the kitchen, sales, showroom, and gameroom—rotating through each to develop a broad understanding of the facility’s workings. Responsibilities include managing staff scheduling, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, coaching and inspiring your team to maximize sales and guest satisfaction, and ensuring a smoothly running and safe environment. Your leadership will be pivotal in recruiting, training, motivating, and developing staff while maintaining financial controls, inventory management, and labor optimization to maximize profitability.

The role demands strong interpersonal skills like effective communication, composure, resourcefulness, and integrity. At the same time, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent time and priority management and maintain high ethical standards. This position requires availability for full-time work, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, and a willingness to work in an active environment involving physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.

CEC Entertainment is committed to the health and safety of its employees and guests, adhering to rigorous health and sanitation standards and operational protocols designed to exceed local requirements. The company supports its workforce with a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Full-time employees enjoy additional benefits such as paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays, FSA/HSA options, and legal coverage, while part-time workers have access to fixed indemnity medical, dental, and vision plans along with voluntary life and short-term disability insurance.

CEC Entertainment fosters an inclusive work environment and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. It values the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of its workforce and provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. This role is more than just a job; it’s a chance to be part of a company that truly cares about family, fun, and making every guest experience memorable.
