The Assistant Manager role at CEC Entertainment offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to advance their management career within a beloved family entertainment leader. This role involves high energy and high reward, tasked with leading a dedicated team focused on ensuring "every guest leaves happy." Assistant Managers make daily decisions regarding time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness, and upholding product and guest service standards.
The role also includes responsibilities for building sales and maximizing profits by recruiting, training, developing, and motivating the team to meet company and guest expectations. Coaching the team to deliver outstanding service, maintaining a safe, clean, and well-run environment, and understanding cost control, inventory, financials, and labor management are essential to success. Assistant Managers take ownership of an "Area of Impact (AOI)," rotating through the Kitchen, Sales, Showroom, and Gameroom to gain comprehensive operational expertise.
Commission opportunities vary depending on exempt or non-exempt status, with earnings potential ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass for exempt employees, and $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass for non-exempt employees, paid bi-weekly. Job Requirements
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week
- Must have a high-school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Minimum of one year of experience managing people or six months experience as an Opening Coordinator
- Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during shift
- Able to work in environment with flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and exposure to wet, humid, heat and cold conditions
Job Qualifications
- Must have a high-school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience managing people, preferably in the food service industry OR experience as an Opening Coordinator for at least six months
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow hiring at age permitted by local law for alcohol service)

Job Duties
