We are currently seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their vibrant team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Restaurant Manager with developing a team that embodies the company’s values, ensuring operational excellence, and driving profitability. The Assistant Restaurant Manager works closely with the Restaurant Manager to recruit, hire, onboard, and develop employees as well as to maintain a guest-first culture within the restaurant. This position involves coaching and motivating team members, monitoring restaurant operations for compliance with safety and brand standards, managing staff scheduling, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for hospitality and leadership, wielding excellent interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with both guests and staff. This role requires a proactive approach in managing team performance, addressing concerns promptly, and implementing action plans based on guest feedback and restaurant assessments. An important aspect of this position includes controlling costs, executing marketing promotions, overseeing product rollouts, and driving sales targets to ensure the restaurant’s financial success.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant, retail, or supervisory roles
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic writing skills
  • Fluent in English

Job Duties

  • Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees
  • Communicate job expectations to employees
  • Hold team members accountable for their behavior and performance, addressing concerns promptly
  • Support the development of team members
  • Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant
  • Ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed to achieve guest service goals
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed
  • Help prepare and complete action plans
  • Implement production, productivity, quality and guest service standards
  • Review guest feedback and restaurant assessment results and implement action plans to drive system improvements
  • Control costs to help maximize profitability
  • Execute all in-restaurant marketing promotions in a timely manner
  • Execute new product roll-outs including team training, marketing and sampling
  • Drive sales goals and track results
