Among its many distinguished establishments, SSP America proudly manages Hollerbach's, a vibrant restaurant situated at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). Hollerbach's is celebrated for its commitment to exceptional food quality, attentive service, and an inviting atmosphere that caters specifically to the needs of travelers passing through this bustling airport venue.
The company thrives in creating environments that bridge cultural culinary experiences with the fast-paced demands of airport dining. Working with SSP America means being part of a dynamic workforce that values diversity, inclusivity, and professional development, all while delivering superior customer satisfaction in the travel dining sector.
The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Hollerbach's is a pivotal leadership position within this thriving restaurant environment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations that meet SSP America's rigorous standards for service and food quality. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire and guide a team of Food Travel Experts to consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences. As the operational backbone during shifts, the Assistant Restaurant Manager leads opening, service, and closing procedures, manages inventory and orders, and oversees cash handling practices efficiently and accurately.
This position demands a keen understanding of restaurant management principles including compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation regulations, such as HACCP and ServSafe standards. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is also involved in hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring team members to foster a productive and cooperative work environment. Effective communication skills are essential for resolving guest feedback promptly, coaching team members, and liaising with senior management. The role offers competitive compensation beginning at $23 per hour, with additional quarterly and annual bonus incentives. Furthermore, there is a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, an employee assistance program, tuition reimbursement, and more.
