Job Description
KFC is a leading global fast-food restaurant chain known for its iconic fried chicken and southern hospitality. Since its founding, KFC has grown to feed millions of customers worldwide every day, delivering flavorful meals alongside a friendly and welcoming customer experience. At KFC, the mission goes beyond just serving food; it is about enriching lives by providing enjoyable dining encounters. The brand has a strong culture emphasizing teamwork, fun, and personal growth, making it an attractive place for motivated individuals who want to build a meaningful career in the restaurant industry.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager role at KFC offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in one of the world’s most recognized brands. This position is ideal for someone eager to manage a thriving restaurant business, valued at over one million dollars in sales, with the guidance and partnership of the Restaurant General Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will support operational excellence, drive sales growth, and help create an outstanding environment for both employees and customers. You will be empowered through comprehensive training that prepares you thoroughly to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic restaurant setting.
Ideal candidates are natural leaders who thrive on bringing people together to form high-performing teams. They are passionate about customer service and have a genuine desire to serve great-tasting chicken with a welcoming attitude. KFC seeks individuals who embody honesty, energy, motivation, and fun, setting high standards not only for themselves but for those they lead. The role demands a can-do attitude and comfort with the unpredictable challenges and excitement that everyday restaurant operations bring. Furthermore, minimum age and licensing requirements apply as you may be tasked with responsibilities such as making restaurant deposits, requiring reliable personal transportation.
The position offers early wage access through Tapcheck, an innovative financial wellness benefit that allows employees to access earned pay before the scheduled payday, helping with financial flexibility. This opportunity is well-suited for those who want to jumpstart a management career in the hospitality field, experience meaningful growth, and contribute to the vibrant KFC family culture.
KFC Corporation is committed to equal opportunity employment and values diversity in its workforce. The company ensures that hiring decisions are based solely on merit without regard to race, gender, age, national origin, or any other protected status. Prospective hires should note that franchised or licensed locations may have different employment requirements, and offers of employment depend on satisfactory background checks and proof of eligibility to work. Joining KFC means more than a job; it means becoming part of a long-standing and respected brand that feeds both the body and the spirit of customers and employees alike.
