Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 1 year experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related area
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in food and beverage or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest issues effectively
  • Experience in supervising teams
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with budget management and operational procedures
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Handle employee questions and concerns
  • Monitor employee performance
  • Provide feedback based on service observation
  • Assist in supervising daily shift operations
  • Supervise restaurant operations in absence of Director
  • Communicate departmental goals during meetings
  • Ensure supplies, equipment and uniforms are available
  • Communicate issues regarding food quality and service
  • Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and legal standards
  • Monitor alcohol service compliance
  • Assist in achieving budget goals
  • Perform restaurant duties as necessary
  • Open and close shifts
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback
  • Supervise staffing levels
  • Encourage excellent customer service
  • Handle guest complaints

  • Set positive examples for guest relations
