Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years in restaurant or food service management or supervisory role
- Experience in full-service restaurant with bar management
- Food Handlers' Card or relevant certification
- Proficient computer literacy including MS Office and POS systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, associate's degree or equivalent coursework preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant or food service management or supervisory role
- Experience in full-service restaurant management including bar operations
- Culinary background highly desirable
- Food Handlers' Card or relevant food safety certification
- Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executives, union representatives and diverse team
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts and uncomfortable situations with clients, customers and team members
Job Duties
- Manage all front of house and kitchen activities, supervise and evaluate team member performance with follow-up and disciplinary action
- Ensure food quality, maintain recipe adherence and portion control in compliance with company and safety standards
- Optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability
- Recruit, train, and communicate with team members, develop and assign daily goals and tasks, implement and maintain guest service standards
- Maintain adherence to company policies and health/sanitation standards
- Maintain merchandising standards, display presentations and monitor inventory
- Handle office management tasks including funds and media management, receiving, inventory, purchasing, scheduling and payroll
- Assist in sales performance monitoring through sales report analysis and comparison shopping
- Address routine operational issues and escalate complex problems to higher management
