Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than 1 year related work experience
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work on-call and part-time schedule
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than 1 year related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
  • Use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances safely and appropriately
  • Follow food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • Check temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, reporting issues to management
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, set-up and break-down workstations, and maintain sanitation and cleaning procedures
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift
