The role of Assistant Manager for Tourism, Travel & Airport Operations at Avis Alaska focuses on leading and managing daily operations at their Anchorage Airport and Midtown locations. Job Duties

  • Support the Anchorage City Manager in overseeing operations at the Anchorage Airport and Midtown locations
  • help manage staffing levels, scheduling, and operational performance
  • ensure vehicles are cleaned, prepared, and available to meet customer demand
  • provide excellent service to travelers renting vehicles
  • assist customers at the rental counter and resolve service concerns
  • maintain high guest satisfaction standards consistent with hospitality industry best practices
  • promote rental upgrades and additional travel products
  • support team members in achieving sales and service goals
  • monitor operational metrics and help improve location performance
  • assist in coaching rental agents and service staff
  • support training initiatives and employee development
