Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- must complete assistant manager training classes
- must be ServSafe certified
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
- proven analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills
- self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility
- working knowledge of personal computers and related software
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle
- ability to stand and walk 85-95 percent of shift
- ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- ability to operate a computer keyboard
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum 1 year experience as Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager in customer service environment for internal promotes
- minimum 3 years experience as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility for external recruits
- must be 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes
- ServSafe certification required
- must be at least 18 years old
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to perform and understand basic math
- proven analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills
- working knowledge of personal computers and related software
- valid driver's license and insurance
- demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees
- monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- ensures training systems on workstations are implemented and adhered to
- identifies and develops internal candidates for management and team leader roles
- works with team to effectively execute "My Promise to You" and the Service Profit Chain
- creates a restaurant environment that is friendly, fun, clean, and safe
- treats employees with care and respect
- motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
