Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- complete Assistant Manager training classes
- possess ServSafe certification
- ability to speak, read, and write English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to perform basic math calculations
- proven analytical and organizational skills
- self-starter with initiative
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to use personal vehicle for business purposes
- physical ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and computers
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred
- minimum of 1 year experience as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal promotions
- minimum of 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external recruits
- must be 100% certified in all workstations
- ServSafe certification required
- ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- strong analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills
- working knowledge of personal computers and related software
- valid driver's license and insurance
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are implemented
- create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations
- manage daily activities to achieve restaurant operational excellence
- train employees and hold the team accountable for excellent guest service and food quality
- respond to guest concerns professionally and timely
- maintain positive brand image through consistent food quality, guest service, and cleanliness
- analyze restaurant operational and financial performance
- develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
- monitor costs and adherence to budget
- serve as a role model for guest service
- manage multiple demands and priorities effectively
- attend to priorities, delegate work, and follow up
- perform other related duties as assigned
