The Assistant Restaurant Manager position at Jack in the Box is a dynamic and multifaceted role that is integral to the smooth operation and success of the restaurant. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager or 3 years for external recruits
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Must be a self-starter who takes initiative
- Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- Minimum of 3 years experience as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility for external candidates
- 100% certified in all workstations
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math concepts
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Working knowledge of personal computers and software applications
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for business use
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels and ensure systems for employee training are adhered to
- Identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
