Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of related experience
  • High volume restaurant or beverage management supervisory experience
  • Basic computer skills including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective listening and judgment skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain required licenses and health cards
  • Demonstrated experience in departmental goal development
  • Must obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness/TAM Card
  • Must obtain and maintain Southern Nevada Health District Health Card
  • Must obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming License

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of related experience
  • High volume restaurant management or beverage management supervisory experience
  • Basic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Demonstrated experience developing department goals and action plans
  • Must obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness/TAM Card
  • Must obtain and maintain Southern Nevada Health District Health Card
  • Must obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming License

Job Duties

  • Direct smooth, efficient, cost-effective operation including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services, scheduling, and inventory control
  • Ensure all departmental service standards are upheld
  • Manage human resources responsibilities including creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction, quality hiring, and training
  • Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of outlets with specific focus on departmental and SNHD food safety standards, OSHA, Fire and Life Safety Regulations
  • Maintain employee license requirements, attendance, payroll records, and files
  • Maintain a working relationship with the Culinary Union
  • Create daily floor plans based on the schedule for managers to oversee the casino floor
  • Edit and track employee’s time
  • Post all bids, memos, and schedules in a timely manner
  • Assist with hiring, separation, discipline, training, and compliance processes and paperwork
  • Support all areas of the Beverage department by ensuring products are stocked and properly inventoried for accurate cost control
  • Seek ways to reduce departmental operating costs without affecting quality
  • Provide guidance and counsel to beverage employees and ensure proper staff scheduling
  • Resolve guest claims or disputes between team members fairly and patiently
  • Ensure prompt, courteous service is consistently provided
  • Interact effectively with all departments regarding issues or assistance needs
  • Keep Beverage Manager informed of all pertinent information and irregularities
  • Assist Beverage Manager and Director with projects as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient operation and respond to public health emergencies
