Job Description

Taco Bell, a globally recognized leader in the quick-service restaurant industry, is currently expanding its team and seeking dedicated, people-focused leaders to join their vibrant and dynamic family. As a renowned restaurant brand, Taco Bell is known for its innovative menu, exciting flavor combinations, and commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience. The company prides itself on fostering a culture that values growth, innovation, and having fun, making it a fantastic place for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and personal career advancement. With a strong emphasis on leadership development and team building, Taco Bell provides a unique environment where employees can thrive and make a real impact in the fast-paced world of quick service dining.

The role of Assistant Manager at Taco Bell offers a compelling opportunity for motivated leaders who are eager to take their careers to the next level. This position plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, responsible for ensuring excellent service, enabling team success, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the establishment. The Assistant Manager is expected to lead by example, inspire the team, and uphold Taco Bell’s standards for quality and guest satisfaction. Working closely with the General Manager, the Assistant Manager will oversee daily operations including shift execution, labor management, and financial goal achievement. This role requires a hands-on leader who can handle challenges with professionalism and care, whether addressing customer concerns or supporting team members.

Taco Bell acknowledges the importance of work-life balance and offers competitive compensation for this role, with an hourly wage aligned with an annual salary range reflecting the responsibilities involved. The position demands a commitment of approximately 50 hours per week, highlighting the fast-paced and engaging nature of the job. Beyond compensation, Taco Bell offers a performance bonus every four weeks, rewarding results and dedication, ensuring that consistently high performance is recognized and celebrated.

The Assistant Manager role is not just a job; it is a career-building opportunity. Taco Bell provides comprehensive benefits to support both personal and professional growth, including medical, dental, and vision insurance with significant coverage for employees and their families. Paid time off begins generously at three weeks to encourage well-being and rest. Further benefits like a 401(k) plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and education support through scholarships and tuition reimbursement reflect Taco Bell’s commitment to its team members’ futures. Retail discounts and access to employee assistance programs further enhance the employee experience.

In this role, the Assistant Manager is expected to thrive as a natural leader who is passionate about fostering positive team culture and developing others to their fullest potential. Ideal candidates are organized, results-driven, and motivated by growth within the restaurant industry, with a background in similar roles such as Assistant Restaurant Manager or Shift Supervisor at notable companies like Chick-fil-A, Chipotle Mexican Grill, or Wendy’s. This position offers a meaningful career path where leadership, service excellence, and fun intersect to create a fulfilling and rewarding work environment.

Potential candidates should note that they will be employed by the franchisee of Taco Bell, an independent business owner who manages individual wage and benefit programs. This structure allows each franchise to tailor opportunities and rewards to best match their team dynamics and local market conditions, ensuring flexibility and community focus within the larger brand umbrella.
