Job Description

Taco Bell is a renowned fast-food restaurant chain known for its innovative approach to Mexican-inspired cuisine and its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a brand that values growth, innovation, and fun, Taco Bell continues to expand its presence and seeks dedicated individuals who are passionate about leadership and team development. The company operates through franchisees, who are independent business owners responsible for their restaurants' day-to-day operations, wages, and benefits. This creates a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment where employees can thrive and grow their careers.

The Assistant Manager role at Taco Bell is a pivotal position within the restaurant that demands leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for people management. This position requires a commitment of approximately 50 hours per week and offers hourly compensation aligned with an established annual salary range. One of the key highlights of this role is the ability to lead and grow a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while contributing directly to the restaurant's success. Assistant Managers are integral to maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, and overall restaurant operations.

In this role, you will lead daily operations and ensure an excellent guest experience from start to finish. You will provide leadership, training, and direction when the General Manager is unavailable, showcasing your ability to manage a team and make critical decisions independently. Managing shift execution involves overseeing labor and financial goals to drive profitability while maintaining operational excellence. Coaching and developing team members is also a vital responsibility, as Taco Bell values fostering a positive team culture and helping employees reach their full potential.

Additionally, you will address customer and team concerns with professionalism and care, supporting scheduling, maintenance, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those who are motivated, organized, and results-driven to build their leadership careers in a brand that supports employee growth and development.

Taco Bell offers competitive benefits, including a performance bonus paid every four weeks, free meals during shifts, and significant coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families. Paid time off starts at three weeks, alongside a 401(k) plan with a company match, disability and life insurance coverage, education support such as GED programs, scholarships, and tuition reimbursement. Employees also gain access to retail discounts and an Employee Assistance Program that supports both them and their families.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in fast-food or restaurant management, such as former Assistant Restaurant Managers, Shift Supervisors, or those who have worked with other notable brands like Chick-fil-A, Chipotle Mexican Grill, or Wendy's. If you are a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and passionate about developing teams while driving business results, Taco Bell invites you to join their franchisee family and embark on a rewarding and fun leadership journey.
