Job Description

Taco Bell, a well-known and beloved fast-food restaurant chain specializing in Mexican-inspired cuisine, is on an exciting growth path and is searching for passionate, people-focused leaders to join its expanding team. Known for its innovative menu, vibrant culture, and commitment to delivering great guest experiences, Taco Bell is more than just a place to work; it is a vibrant, dynamic environment where team members are encouraged to grow and succeed. Operating numerous locations, Taco Bell has built a strong reputation for not only serving delicious food but also fostering a culture that values leadership, development, and fun. Working with Taco Bell means being part of a team that is committed to excellence, community involvement, and continuous innovation in the fast-food industry.

As an Assistant Manager at Taco Bell, you will hold a critical leadership position that blends operational expertise with people management to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and guests have an outstanding experience every time. The role requires a dependable, energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to inspiring and guiding team members. This position demands a significant commitment, including a 50-hour work week, reflecting the busy and engaging nature of restaurant operations. Compensation is hourly and aligns with an annual salary range, supplemented by a performance bonus paid every four weeks based on results.

Your responsibilities as an Assistant Manager will have a lasting impact on both the restaurant’s success and the growth and satisfaction of your team. You will lead daily operations, ensuring that every guest interaction is handled with professionalism and care. In the absence of the General Manager, you will take the helm, overseeing shift execution, labor management, and financial goals to keep restaurant performance on track. Coach and develop staff, fostering a positive culture that empowers individuals to reach their full potential. Handling customer and team concerns thoughtfully will be part of your leadership role, requiring a hands-on approach combined with excellent communication skills.

This role comes with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family. Taco Bell invests in your health and well-being with medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, and provides paid time off starting at three weeks. You will also have access to education support programs like GEDWorks, scholarships, and tuition reimbursement, helping you advance your career and personal development. Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan with company match, disability and life insurance, retail discounts through Taco Perks and KFC Employee Perks, and an Employee Assistance Program offering valuable support services.

Joining Taco Bell as an Assistant Manager is an opportunity to build your leadership career in a fast-paced, rewarding setting where innovation meets hospitality. Whether you come from experienced roles such as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Shift Supervisor, or similar positions within chains like Chick-fil-A, Chipotle Mexican Grill, or Wendy's, Taco Bell offers a platform to grow, lead with purpose, and have fun along the way. Become part of a franchisee operation, bringing your unique talents to life within the Taco Bell family, where your contributions directly influence the success and growth of the restaurant and team.
