Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years of leadership experience in a high volume restaurant
  • Previous quick service restaurant experience preferred
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills
  • Ability to train and coach staff
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to Dairy Queen standards
  • Ability to maintain food safety and health standards
  • Must be honest and have integrity

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience
  • Previous quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proven track record of effectively managing cost of goods sold (COGS) and labor
  • Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices
  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong hospitality and customer service skills
  • Ability to train and coach others on restaurant routines and customer interaction
  • Excellent management and employee relations skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve business goals

Job Duties

  • Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts
  • Strive for operational levels that meet or exceed the fan's expectations in quality, service, and atmosphere
  • Accurately complete designated duties such as inventory control, ordering of products, cash control
  • Ensure that shift leads and crew are trained on PRIDE systems, product recipes, food safety, and restaurant safety
  • Incorporate PRIDE systems into daily operations to set shifts up for success
  • Assist in executing the restaurant's business plan under guidance of Director and field staff
  • Analyze and react to financial issues impacting profit and loss, including COGS and labor adjustments
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and fan visits
  • Ensure fan service meets or exceeds company standards
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints promptly and effectively
  • Build relationships with returning and preferred patrons
  • Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members
  • Monitor employee performance and provide continuous feedback
  • Enforce policies and procedures
  • Prepare or assist in preparing hourly employee schedules
  • Foster a positive working environment to maximize morale and productivity
  • Support food safety training and practices, ensuring ServSafe standards
  • Maintain a safe and secure facility
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies such as accidents or robbery
  • Contribute ideas for marketing promotions and assist with local marketing activities
  • Perform other duties as requested by the General Manager
