We prioritize creating a welcoming atmosphere for both our guests and staff while maintaining high standards in all aspects of restaurant operations. As a growing business committed to excellence, we focus heavily on teamwork, effective leadership, and continuous improvement. Our emphasis lies not only in meeting revenue and profitability goals but also in fostering a positive, supportive work environment that brings out the best in every team member. We believe that respect for guests and colleagues, along with strong communication and business acumen, are crucial for success in our fast-paced hospitality environment.
The Assistant Manager role is pivotal within our organization. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who thrives on coaching, training, and developing team members to achieve and exceed performance expectations. As an Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in coordinating all aspects of restaurant service, including both front of house and back of house operations. Your primary responsibilities will include organizing and supervising shifts to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to company standards. You will play a vital role in nurturing a positive working environment by recognizing and leveraging the strengths of individual team members.
In addition to managing daily operations, you will be expected to monitor restaurant performance and promptly initiate corrective measures when necessary. Compliance with all federal and state-specific health department standards is critical, and you will be accountable for enforcing these guidelines consistently to guarantee safety and quality. Your leadership style should be approachable, patient, and positive, creating an atmosphere where team members feel supported and motivated.
The role also demands proficiency in administrative tasks such as forecasting, food costing, labor costing, inventory management, payroll, and scheduling. Your ability to appraise team member performance and provide constructive feedback will contribute significantly to the professional growth and overall success of the team. This position is ideal for individuals who possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a keen business sense that aligns with our company’s mission and vision. Candidates with a minimum of one year of front of house management experience in an upscale, casual dining environment and the capability to provide excellent professional references are particularly well-suited for this role. By joining our team as an Assistant Manager, you will engage in a challenging yet rewarding career path that offers opportunities for personal development and advancement within the hospitality industry.
