Job Requirements
- hs diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 5 years of progressive experience working in a restaurant or boh environment
- working knowledge of food safety rules and standards
- experience preparing food dishes focused on Italian cuisine
- excellent understanding of back-of-house administrative duties
- prior experience mentoring kitchen employees
- ability to communicate in English
- outstanding communication and supervisory skills
- high motivation and ability to think quickly on the job
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- ensure that all food items and products are stored, prepared and served based on the kitchen's recipe, preparation and portion standards
- prepare dishes according to company and store recipes
- assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and kitchen administrative functions
- order kitchen materials and ingredients based on menu needs
- supervise food preparation and customer satisfaction
- maintain clean working environment and enforce safety policies
- maintain inventory levels and conduct daily and weekly inventories
- collaborate with department managers on menu, pricing and portion sizes
- schedule shifts according to business hours and events
- oversee training of employees for safe operation and handling
- perform other assigned duties
