Job Description

Olympia Hospitality is a renowned hospitality company that prides itself on building a community-centric work environment where employees are more than just team members—they are part of a supportive and caring family. The company is dedicated to continuous improvement, accountability, trust, and concern for others, fostering a culture of collaboration and integrity. Olympia Hospitality operates with the goal of not only providing excellent service to its guests but also creating a workplace where every employee can grow personally and professionally. They value passion, drive, and a commitment to success, creating an inspiring workplace where career development is encouraged and achievements are celebrated.

The role of Front Desk Supervisor at Olympia Hospitality is a crucial position that supports the Guest Service Manager in managing the front desk operations. This employment opportunity is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional guest experiences and possess strong leadership qualities. The Front Desk Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the front desk, maximizing profitability, and achieving high levels of guest satisfaction. This role involves delegating tasks, providing training, and supporting front desk staff to maintain service excellence.

In addition to supervising others, the Front Desk Supervisor is actively involved in the guest service process. Responsibilities include effective communication with guests, managing reservation sales, accurately handling guest accounts, and assisting in all aspects of the guest experience such as check-in, check-out, and resolving any issues that arise. The supervisor often acts as the manager on duty when the Guest Service Manager is not present, which entails making decisions that uphold the hospitality standards and overall operational efficiency.

Olympia Hospitality offers a company culture that prioritizes employee well-being both inside and outside the workplace. They offer robust benefits such as health insurance with considerable employer contributions, dental and vision coverage, and flexible spending account options to manage healthcare expenses. Employees are supported in securing their future through 401K plans with discretionary matches. The company also provides paid group term life insurance for select positions and shared-cost short-term disability insurance, along with optional additional life insurance.

Work-life balance is a significant emphasis at Olympia Hospitality; they provide a comprehensive paid time off plan, seven paid holidays, and an earned wage access program for financial flexibility. Moreover, as part of their caring workplace philosophy, they extend additional support programs including employee assistance, sober support networks, and maintain a recovery-friendly environment. Team members enjoy perks such as exclusive hotel travel discounts. This role offers more than just employment; it offers a career path with a supportive structure and benefits aimed at enriching personal and professional life.
