Job Description

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a rapidly expanding restaurant chain specializing in craveable chicken finger meals, known affectionately as their One Love. Founded with a strong commitment to quality food and exceptional customer service, Raising Cane's has become one of the fastest-growing chicken concepts in the United States. The company embraces a vibrant culture centered around the philosophy 'Work Hard. Have Fun.' This approach has helped foster a dedicated and dynamic workforce that consistently strives to provide a memorable dining experience for every guest. As Raising Cane's aims to become a Top 10 Restaurant Brand in America, it continues to invest in its people and operations to support this goal.

This position is for an Assistant Restaurant Leader, a critical role within the restaurant's management team. This role supports the Restaurant Leader in overseeing daily restaurant activities while ensuring adherence to Raising Cane's high standards and unique culture. The Assistant Restaurant Leader is responsible for managing the operations including the onboarding and performance management of hourly crewmembers, scheduling, payroll processes, and maintaining a safe, clean restaurant environment. The role involves a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment where physical exertion such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, and handling industrial kitchen equipment are common. Interactions with customers and co-workers play a significant part in the job, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The compensation begins at a competitive salary starting from $55,000 annually, complemented by a monthly training incentive of $750 and possible monthly bonuses linked to restaurant profitability. Location, experience, and qualifications will influence the final pay. Raising Cane's offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, pharmacy coverage, and company-provided life and disability insurance. Additional support options such as dependent care and healthcare flexible spending accounts, hospital indemnity, accident and critical illness coverage, and a 401(k) plan with employer match are available to qualified employees. Raising Cane's also understands the importance of work-life balance and personal growth, providing access to financial advisors, tuition reimbursement, a gym membership program, a crewmember assistance program, pet insurance, and employee discount programs.

As an Assistant Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane's, you will be a key driver in delivering outstanding service and operational excellence. Responsibilities include hiring and terminating non-management crewmembers, managing schedules and payroll, coaching and developing staff, handling cash--all while acting as a shift manager when needed, including opening and closing the restaurant. You will ensure the restaurant's compliance with company policies and safety standards, manage customer satisfaction, and uphold the cleanliness and operational readiness of the facility. This role also calls for a high degree of organizational skill, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to meet the demands of a constantly evolving restaurant environment.

Joining Raising Cane's means becoming part of a company where your contributions are valued and your career can flourish within an energetic and supportive culture. If you are passionate about leadership in the restaurant industry, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this position offers a fulfilling opportunity to advance your career while making a meaningful impact on a renowned and growing brand.
