Job Description

JEM Restaurant Group is a prominent franchisee operating Taco Bell restaurants across South Carolina and Georgia. As part of one of the fastest-growing and most beloved fast-food chains in the world, JEM Restaurant Group prides itself on delivering exceptional dining experiences, fostering a positive workplace culture, and maintaining strong community ties. With a focus on innovation, quality service, and team development, this group is committed to not only serving great food but also creating fulfilling career paths for its employees. This dedication is reflected in their progressive benefit offerings and leadership opportunities.

The role of Assistant General Manager (AGM) at JEM Restaurant Group represents a crucial leadership position within the Taco Bell restaurant team. As an AGM, you will work closely with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to oversee daily operations, ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. This involves managing team member scheduling to optimize labor costs while maintaining excellent service quality. You will take part in inventory management and ordering processes, ensuring that stock levels are accurately maintained to meet customer demand without unnecessary waste.

Your responsibilities also extend to hiring, training, mentoring, and developing crew members, helping to build a strong and motivated workforce. The AGM position plays a vital role in maintaining compliance with all health and safety regulations, ensuring that the restaurant meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, which contributes to a positive guest experience. Handling guest concerns effectively and delivering outstanding customer service are other key components of this role, where your leadership will directly impact the satisfaction and loyalty of customers.

Offering an annual salary range between $50,000 and $60,000, this full-time position comes with a robust benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of the team member. These benefits include health insurance to protect you and your family, a performance-driven bonus program that rewards your contributions and achievements, and a 401(k) plan with company match to help you save for the future. Paid time off is also provided, ensuring you have the necessary work-life balance to thrive.

For candidates relocating to the South Carolina or Georgia markets, JEM Restaurant Group provides relocation assistance to facilitate a smooth transition. The company’s commitment to employee satisfaction extends beyond basic compensation, also offering a voluntary Daily Pay benefit. This innovative program allows employees to access their earned wages on their own schedule, giving you more control over your finances.

If you possess prior management experience in food service or retail, combined with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, this role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential, as is a passion for great food and a positive attitude that you can bring to your team and customers every day. As a proven leader ready to grow within an exciting and rapidly expanding brand, you will find a welcoming environment where your efforts are recognized and rewarded.

JEM Restaurant Group values fearless energy and innovation, making this an ideal role for those who are ready to take on responsibilities that impact the success of a busy restaurant operation. Join a team committed to leadership development and guest satisfaction and take your career to the next level with a respected franchisee of Taco Bell, a brand known globally for its vibrant culture and popular menu offerings.
