Renowned for its exceptional guest experiences and luxurious accommodations, Casa Del Mar caters to travelers seeking comfort, relaxation, and top-tier service in a vibrant coastal setting. Managed by Hilton Grand Vacations, this resort proudly upholds the values of hospitality, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence, ensuring every visit is memorable and enjoyable for its guests. The company is committed to creating a positive work environment, fostering diversity, and providing equal opportunities for employment and growth. Casa Del Mar Resort offers a supportive and inclusive culture where employees are empowered to excel and pursue a rewarding career in hospitality management.

The Assistant General Manager role at Casa Del Mar Resort is a dynamic and influential leadership position vital to the success of the property. This role involves supporting the overall operational leadership of the resort, driving financial performance, maintaining service excellence, and upholding the highest property standards. The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to develop and execute initiatives that enhance resort operations across multiple departments including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, recreation, and engineering.

As a key leader within the resort, the Assistant General Manager is charged with fostering a positive work environment that maximizes guest and team member satisfaction. This role requires leading by example, exemplifying Hilton Grand Vacations' core values, and inspiring team members to take independent action and initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing department heads, ensuring compliance with organizational and financial regulations, and maintaining the quality of product and service standards through continuous evaluation and improvement efforts.

Specific responsibilities also include managing human resource practices in partnership with the HR Business Partner, such as recruitment, performance management, corrective actions, and employee development plans. The Assistant General Manager plays a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with sales, marketing, rental partners, HOA Board Members, and guests to drive operational success and financial sustainability. Participation in developing and overseeing budgets, forecasting, and ensuring timely contract and compliance management further underscores the strategic importance of this position.

Additional perks of working with Casa Del Mar Resort include extraordinary benefits from day one, such as comprehensive health care options including medical, dental, and vision coverage, recognition programs, travel discounts, paid vacation and sick days, an employee assistance program to support wellbeing, a 401(k) plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, an employee stock purchase program, and numerous opportunities for learning and advancement. The resort is committed to supporting its employees' physical and mental health while offering a welcoming and engaging workplace.
