The Assistant General Manager role at Valor Hospitality is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to provide superior service and products to guests. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing or economics preferred
- Minimum of five years experience in a related or management position
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams
- Experience in financial management and forecasting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects
- Knowledge of hotel operations and adherence to policies and procedures
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Adhere to all mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures
- Assist in developing departmental sales plan with Director of Sales & Marketing
- Set hotel goals, develop business and financial plans, and monitor performance
- Ensure the hotel meets all debt, lease term, and contractual obligations
- Develop associates for career advancement using performance review systems and training
- Monitor all department expenses including revenue to payroll ratio and ensure proper forecasting
- Maintain exceptional guest relations through staffing, programming, service operations, and maintenance
- Recruit, select, and develop qualified team of department leaders
- Participate in community and industry events to facilitate favorable reputation and brand relations
