The role available is a full-time management position focused on supporting all aspects of the hotel’s operations at Residence Inn by Marriott Ormond Beach Oceanfront. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will assist in driving the property’s operational and financial performance, enhancing guest and employee satisfaction, and implementing property-wide strategies aligned with brand standards and initiatives. The position offers an annual salary range of $79,000 to $106,000, with bonus eligibility, reflecting the level of responsibility and leadership expected. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality management and capable of leading diverse teams to deliver outstanding service and maximize operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the daily functions of all property departments, ensuring compliance with corporate and brand requirements, and managing financial activities such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and budgeting. The manager will also play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, OSHA compliance, and licensing as mandated by local and federal agencies. Furthermore, the position entails fostering a positive work environment by promoting open communication policies, coaching team leaders, enforcing clear performance expectations, and driving continuous improvement efforts.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
  • or two-year degree from accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
  • two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
  • ability to multitask and manage multiple departments

Job Duties

  • verify brand standards are maintained across the property
  • manage operations of all hotel departments
  • promote guarantee of fair treatment and open door policies
  • maintain key control program and required licenses

  • manage finance functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and banking
