Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
- or two-year degree from accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
- two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
- ability to multitask and manage multiple departments
- strong leadership and communication skills
- knowledge of financial management
- proficiency with scheduling software
- compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- ability to work full time and be present on site

- ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- verify brand standards are maintained across the property
- manage operations of all hotel departments
- promote guarantee of fair treatment and open door policies
- maintain key control program and required licenses
- ensure safe working environment in compliance with OSHA/MSDS
- manage finance functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and banking
- review financial statements and performance data for cost reduction and improvements
- stay available and approachable for employees
- lead by example with confidence and enthusiasm
- assist team managers with scheduling to meet guest and occupancy goals
- set clear performance expectations with the general manager
- provide coaching and counseling to supervisors
- solicit feedback for continuous improvement
- extend professionalism and courtesy to guests
- motivate staff to address guest and employee concerns
- provide excellent customer service
- take proactive steps to resolve guest issues
- assist employees in exceeding guest expectations
- ensure thorough orientation for new team members
- handle employee concerns proactively
- comply with hiring practices including I-9 and EEO requirements
- perform other duties as assigned
