Operating over 300 stores in 17 states, WKS Restaurant Group manages a diverse portfolio of well-known brands including El Pollo Loco, Wendy's, Denny's, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Blaze Pizza, and Corner Bakery Café. As a licensed franchisee, WKS is committed to providing exceptional dining experiences through high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational excellence. This extensive network and strong brand collaborations position WKS as a leader in the franchise restaurant industry, known for growth, innovation, and a team-oriented work environment.

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) role at Wendy's under WKS Restaurant Group represents a key leadership position focused on supporting the General Manager in the restaurant’s daily operations. This role plays an essential part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of a high-volume food service establishment. The position is ideal for individuals with experience in fast-paced environments who excel in team leadership, operational management, and financial oversight. The AGM is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant functions, maintaining financial controls, managing schedules, hiring and training staff, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

In this role, the AGM acts as a supportive leader who upholds Wendy's standards, promotes a fun and family-oriented atmosphere, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations. The position demands flexibility, resilience, and excellent interpersonal skills as the AGM works closely with the General Manager to implement strategies that improve customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational efficiency. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary that reflects relevant experience plus various benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families, a 401(k) plan with company match, monthly paid bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off. The position requires availability for 50 to 55 hours per week, including rotating shifts on weekends and holidays, with the restaurant closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The AGM role is an opportunity to grow within a supportive franchise environment with the backing of a rapid-growth organization like WKS Restaurant Group. Candidates who bring a strong leadership mindset, customer service orientation, and the ability to thrive in dynamic settings will find this role rewarding. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings. Physical requirements include the ability to walk and stand for extended periods and to lift up to 50 pounds. WKS Restaurant Group values team members who demonstrate problem-solving skills, decisiveness, and a genuine dedication to fostering a positive workplace culture, making this role an excellent fit for motivated, results-driven professionals seeking to advance their careers in the restaurant industry.
