Job Requirements
- education or equivalent experience in restaurant management
- 3-5 years in restaurant management preferably in casual or fine dining
- strong financial knowledge including labor and food cost management
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- food safety and sanitation certification as per local laws
- problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization skills
- calmness under pressure
- computer literacy and ability to learn new software
- cross-functional knowledge of front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry 25-40 lbs
- ability to bend, reach, twist frequently
- flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to work up to 55 hours per week as needed
- potential to respond to urgent business needs off-site
- ability to travel up to 10%
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of restaurant management experience preferably in high-quality casual or fine dining
- strong financial understanding including labor, food cost, and profitability
- ability to speak and understand English
- sanitation and food safety certification according to local and state laws
Job Duties
- support the gm in leading restaurant operations in line with service standards
- help recruit, select, train, lead and retain a diverse team
- provide day-to-day coaching, feedback, and accountability to develop team members
- model guest-first leadership and resolve guest concerns promptly
- ensure operational consistency in food safety, quality, and cleanliness
- assist with open and close procedures and checklists
- support sales, profitability, and operational excellence efforts
