Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with relevant experience
  • Minimum of one year related Assistant General Manager experience or three years in hospitality operations
  • Proficient computer skills including email communication and data management
  • Experience with hotel information systems
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of operational and financial hotel management processes

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least one year of related Assistant General Manager experience
  • Or high school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively via email and manipulate data in spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience with hotel information systems
  • Preferred experience with Opera and M3 systems
  • Proven operations management experience in select service or extended stay hotels

Job Duties

  • Provide strong operational leadership and support to the General Manager to maintain and further hotel brand standards for guest satisfaction
  • Execute accounts receivable and payable duties within the first 30 days
  • Familiarize and participate actively in HR processes including new hire onboarding
  • Develop and implement staff optimization plans to maximize team performance and service quality
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution on the hotel floor
  • Collaborate effectively with hotel leadership, corporate staff, and ownership groups as needed
  • Maintain and grow market share while identifying new business opportunities
